This week, Brisbane landmarks such as City Hall and the Story Bridge are being lit up in yellow to promote Yellow Ribbon National Road Safety Week, which runs from 8 to 14 May 2017.

Yellow Ribbon National Road Safety Week  is an initiative of Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Inc, a not-for-profit association on a mission to promote initiatives that will bring about improved road safety, as well as support those affected by road tragedy.

Yellow Ribbon National Road Safety Week also coincides with the United Nations Global Road Safety week. Many well known landmarks across Australia are excepted to be lit yellow until Sunday.
